The Rock is undeniably one of WWE's biggest names right now, despite appearing on screen sporadically. According to a veteran, it is high time for him to return to the program.
According to Hugo Savinovich, The Rock should also be brought back right now. With RAW coming to Netflix, the Stamford-based promotion is expected to make every effort to have it start with a bang. The matches already announced for the premiere episode on Netflix are high-profile, with stars like Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, and others involved.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's UnSKripted, Hugo stated:
"I believe that if he shows up, he's gonna kick some b*tt. I mean, because you're starting a new era, and you gotta make it for the fans and the new fans. Remember, we are talking about people that were not even used to watching a boxing fight that watched that Tyson bout. So to me, it's a great opportunity to use somebody like The Rock or John Cena, who, even if you don't know their wrestling history and the faces of the WWE... just the fact of their names, Hollywood personas, it don't have to be too long." A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
Another veteran also wants The Rock to return to WWE
Renowned lawyer Michael Morales Torres also shared his thoughts, agreeing with Hugo Savinovich.
On the same episode of Sportskeeda's UnSKripted, Torres talked about how The Rock had become a megastar in areas other than wrestling, which would serve the company well if he returned. He stated:
"It's gotta be Rock man. It's gotta be The Rock. What's bigger than the biggest guy that came to wrestling and made this a big deal, then do a transition to Hollywood and became a huge deal as well inside that industry. And he is just a megastar. One of the most followed people on Instagram and several social medias," Torres said. [8:04 onward]
It remains to be seen when The Rock does make his return to WWE.
