WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker inadvertently stirred the pot recently when he called today's locker room soft. This was not the first time he had made this statement about the new generation of athletes in professional wrestling. The legend has been vocal since retirement about how talents need to always find a way to increase their value.

The Undertaker retired from in-ring competition four years ago. He is now frequently seen on his podcast Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway, having raised the curtain on his iconic character and career.

In the latest episode, he addressed today's wrestling boom and how the company is making a lot more money than during his time as an active competitor. He noted that whatever he says is only a "humble opinion" but things need not be done exactly that way:

"It is a different era. Honestly, I can't say too much because you guys are making more money and doing such great business. It is what it is. I did what I did the way I did it, and I have my humble opinion how things should be done. But obviously, it doesn't have to be done that way to be successful. Everybody is entitled to their opinion," Taker said.

He then got to "wrestling people" taking offense for everything, clarifying that none of his statements are meant as a "personal attack." However, he also could not help but take a dig at the new generation of wrestlers again:

"Maybe soft was not the right choice of word," he admitted. "What killed me though was all the passive aggressive tweets that I got from wrestlers like, man, you got to be kidding me. You need to get off of Twitter and figure out why you're not drawing anything [bursts out laughing] I can't help myself! Okay, I love you guys." [From 36:37 to 38:47]

The Undertaker considers Gunther the best wrestler today

During a conversation with WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently, the veterans praised Gunther for adopting the 'less is more' approach towards the latter's in-ring work. They hailed The Ring General as the best wrestler in the world today.

The Undertaker also discussed meeting up with Gunther at a WWE show, and admitting that he genuinely wishes he got to step in the ring with the current World Heavyweight Champion.
