The Undertaker is considered one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time, a well-respected legend in and out of the ring. The Hall of Famer recently shared his only worry about the current generation of wrestlers.

Mark Calaway had a 33-year career as a pro wrestler, the majority of which was in WWE as The Undertaker. He remains active in the industry as a podcaster and is still watching the product of today.

In an appearance on Demetrious 'Mighty Mouse' Johnson's MightyCast podcast, The Deadman opened up about a lot of things. One of those things is his worry that today's wrestlers are compensating for their lack of character development with high-risk moves.

"The only thing that worries me, because I know the physical shape and condition that I'm in and the things that I've had to do since I've been in the business, is I worry about their longevity because of how much they continue to push the envelope. What ends up happening a lot of times... there was a time period there where the character development was really lacking and the athleticism part was there so they started doing these crazy moves to [compensate for lack of character development]," The Undertaker said. There are no longer a lot of gimmick characters in WWE and it's mostly about stories and wrestling. Entertainment is still a large part of it and business has been booming, not just in the biggest wrestling promotion in the world, but also across different promotions around the world.

The Undertaker's view of the locker room today under Triple H

One of The Undertaker's jobs backstage was to lead the locker room and make sure every wrestler was in line with what the company wanted. However, it seems like the locker room under Triple H is less chaotic these days, as per the Hall of Famer.

"There is such a chill vibe. For me, I almost don't like it because it's almost too calm. And this is just me on the outside looking in is like they don't care enough. And it's not that. It's just the atmosphere. I think because that roster is so young, that kind of person that can nurture like he can, I think, is perfect for this time period in the industry," The Phenom said on his podcast back in February.
