The Undertaker has spoken about what he feels may be the worst role in WWE. The star called it out and has made his opinions clear, shockingly, as he's not known for speaking negatively about anything in the company.
Speaking on his Six Feet Under podcast (h/t SI), The Phenom talked about what he felt was the worst role in WWE, and was adamant that he himself would never take part in it.
The Undertaker wanted to be absolutely clear, saying that there was no chance that he would have ever been on the commentary team. He went on to call it the "worst." He said that there were actually two better places to watch the show—one with Vince McMahon in the Gorilla position and the other listening to Kevin Dunn talk to his people.
"There is absolutely zero chance I would have ever went on commentary. They've got it the absolute worst. Funny thing is, though, what people don't realize, there were two really good places to watch the show from: either at Gorilla position next to Vince [McMahon] or go to the truck and listen to Kevin Dunn communicate to his people."
At any rate, the Phenom's character would not mesh with being a commentator, and even if he had chosen that role, he would have hated it. Given the controversial nature of Kevin Dunn and Vince McMahon's reputations, he appears to have preferred watching the show from next to them.
The Undertaker's own role in WWE
The Undertaker's role in WWE never really required him to be part of any commentary booth. The star was also known as the Deadman, and until he finally retired, he never really broke character.
Sticking to his supernatural role, he made his name during his career, and it was only after his retirement that fans got to see who Mark Calaway really was - the man behind the legend.
