The Undertaker's legendary WWE in-ring career spanned three decades, and that doesn't include the years he spent wrestling before signing with Vince McMahon or what he's done out of the ring and behind the scenes since retiring. With a career this vast comes rumors, road stories, urban legends, and locker room tales. Taker is now publicly addressing one of the more bizarre claims.

The Phenom wrestled nearly 2,500 matches over the years and was on the winning end around 75% of the time. He has worked for several promotions, such as WWE, WCW, and USWA, in more than 40 countries. Almost 2,000 of Taker's bouts were held in the United States of America, in nearly all 50 states. The Memorial Auditorium in Burlington, Vermont, hosted five of those matches.

Locals in Vermont have allegedly heard that The Brother of Destruction was once banned. On his Six Feet Under podcast, a fan asked the 59-year-old if he was banned from The Green Mountain State after refusing to write an apology letter to state officials. The man said he'd heard the story many times but wasn't sure if it was true. Taker had a humorous response.

"Yeah... The Great Pancake Caper... Vermont, maple syrup, pancakes. I've never heard that [the rumor] in my life. [Taker laughs] Banned from Vermont? I am not banned from Vermont. I'm nowhere... I don't live anywhere close to Vermont. I don't go to Vermont... I'm not banned! You found that interesting... you thought that I was banned from a whole state. I've been banned from a whole state, really?" The Undertaker said. [From 42:55 to 43:37]

The Undertaker continued:

"They can't ban me from a state... Well, I have done many things that are stupid, but you can't ban somebody from a state. No, you can't. You can confine somebody to, like, a region or something, but you can't ban somebody. [co-hosts: so you're allowed in Vermont?] Yes, I can go to Vermont, I can go to Delaware if I wanted to."
