The Wyatt Sicks have been on WWE TV for a few weeks now, and during a recent interview, Jonathan Coachman revealed why he was unhappy with the group for a kayfabe-breaking act.

After weeks of teasers, the Bo Dollas-led Wyatt Sicks debuted on the June 17th episode of Monday Night RAW. The masked members would go on to surprise pose for a photo with a fan following the show, and the image got a lot of attention online.

Sportskeeda's Bill Apter spoke to Jonathan Coachman, and during the chat, the former WWE commentator opened up about his issues with modern-day talent not protecting their characters.

Coachman is always vocal about the current status of the wrestling industry and revealed he got lots of heat for his take on the Wyatt Sicks' non-kayfabe photo.

The Coach explained that WWE had spent a lot of money on its "rollout" for the stable, and one picture had destroyed the group's entire aura, which he wasn't too pleased about.

He opened up:

"The thing I think is lost a little bit and I was criticized recently for it is kind of the illusion, separating the wall. And what I mean by it is the Wyatt Sicks. They have this incredible rollout, probably tens and thousands of dollars spent in that incredible (thing), right? And then what do they do that particular, right? They go out to a Whataburger burger, and they take a picture with somebody who had like 68 followers on Instagram, and they take that whole illusion away that I just had an hour before." Jonathan Coachman feels special gimmicks and acts like The Wyatt Sicks need to be preserved

The Wyatt Sicks' story is gradually unfolding on television as the motivations of each member are revealed to the WWE Universe.

However, the photo following their debut clearly didn't sit well with Jonathan Coachman, who feared it would negatively impact Bo Dallas' faction.

The wrestling veteran stressed that talents need to protect extraordinary and unique gimmicks, similar to WWE's newest team. Coachman continued:

"To me, you've got to protect your gimmick, as we used to say, at all costs. When you have a once-in-a-lifetime gimmick, like what the Wyatt Sicks is doing, you don't!" [6:55 - 7:05]

While it might be difficult for talents to escape the public eye in the social media era, Jonathan Coachman believes wrestling stars could be extra cautious and ensure their on-screen persona isn't affected in an undesirable way.
