Triple H recently came under fire for his planning of the WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event. According to a veteran, the Game was fully responsible for the mistake.
With the much anticipated PLE just a few weeks away, there has not been much revealed about what the card for the show will look like. As of now, a total of five matches have been confirmed (four at the time of the following episode). This, according to former WWE writer, Vince Russo is a huge mistake on Triple H's part as the Creative Head.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show, the veteran explained his point and criticized Triple H for the blunder. He said that planning and scheduling were an integral part of the creative department's job and with less than two weeks to go and to have only four (five since this episode) matches confined for the card of The Biggest Party of the Summer was inexcusable.
"This is like, just really what bothers me, because you know like, you know the way Triple H is heralded with creative. This is part of creative bro. I don't know if people understand that. Planning, and scheduling is part of creative, and the fact bro that I believe SummerSlam is two weeks from this weekend. The fact that there are four [confirmed matches], you are not doing your job bro. There is no excuse, there is no reason for that whatsoever. You are not doing your job if two weeks out we have only got four matches announced," he said. [4:30 onwards]

WWE veteran has previously criticized Triple H's presentation in terms of storylines
While Vince Russo is quite appreciative of Triple H, he is not impressed with how the Game has been writing storylines as the Creative Head.
Speaking on an episode of Legion of RAW, Russo explained that although The Game could put on great WWE wrestling shows, he was not a writer and would never be one. Vince Russo further elaborated on the difference between being a booker and a writer and categorized the CCO as the former. The veteran clarified he was only stating facts and not taking any shots at The Game.
"Listen, it's not a shot at Triple H. He is not a writer. He's another wrestler booking matches. That's not a shot at him, that's a fact. That literally would be like me stepping in a wrestling ring and thinking I can compete with the wrestlers. You're not a writer bro. That's why you're gonna get a house show. You're not a writer, you're a wrestling booker," said Russo. [2:54 onwards]
As of now, only time will tell how the current WWE storylines are booked in the coming weeks leading up to the Biggest Party of the Summer on August 3 in Cleveland, Ohio.
