"These titles are cursed" - Fans desperately don't want superstar to win the titles after serious injury forces WWE to vacate championships

WWE had to vacate titles yet again this week on SmackDown. After Liv Morgan was injured while defending the Women's Tag Team Title, the company appeared to be stalling their decision to remove the titles from the champions.

This seemed to indicate that the injury was not too serious, but since then, things have obviously changed. While it's not clear what changed WWE's mind, the company vacated the Women's Tag Team Championship from Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

Whether this means that Morgan's injury was worse than first thought remains to be seen.

The company didn't stand by. Raquel Rodriguez has to find a new partner in two weeks, as on the RAW after Night of Champions, she will compete in a Fatal Four Way Tag Team Match featuring Shayna Baszler & Ronda Rousey, Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green, and Bayley & IYO SKY.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

The winners of the match will be crowned the new Women's Tag Team Champions. Unfortunately, this is not the first time the titles had to be vacated. Just last year, Naomi and Sasha Banks walked out of RAW, abandoning the titles. The vacated championship was then won by Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez in the finals of an eight-team tournament.

Fans feel that the titles being vacated once again so soon after the last time is a sign that they are cursed.

The main focus they had, though, was on one superstar not winning it. The fans made it known that they would be okay with anything except Ronda Rousey winning the Women's Tag Team Championship.

For the moment, it's not clear who's winning the titles. Only time will determine if the WWE fans were right and the company had Rousey on their mind while booking the match.

Ronda Rousey returned to WWE programming this week

Ronda Rousey returned to WWE RAW this week and attacked Raquel Rodriguez following the latter's match against Chelsea Green. Shayna Baszler was also with her at the time.

The duo was absent from television due to an injury Rousey sustained on SmackDown ahead of WrestleMania 39. She revealed that she suffered a dislocated elbow. Although she wrestled at the WrestleMania Showcase match, Rousey took time away to heal after that.

With her return, she immediately made it clear that she was going after the Women's Tag Team Titles. Now with a championship match, it's up to her to see if she can win it all.
