Former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. recently offered his honest take on The Wyatt Sicks' presentation on Monday Night RAW. He also praised the group's segment from last week's show.
Bo Dallas returned to TV as his alter ego, Uncle Howdy. He formed a faction with Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, Nikki Cross, and Dexter Lumis, vowing to make a major impact on the red brand while paying tribute to the late Bray Wyatt.
So far, Howdy has been seen in interviews with Dallas and Rowan. Both men discussed their past experiences with Bray Wyatt. On his Wrestling with Freddie podcast, the former writer lauded WWE's decision to reintroduce The Wyatt Sicks members, highlighting how they could use sympathy to get over with the fans.
"They [WWE] gave Erick Rowan or have given Erick Rowan some time on camera. Some people are wanting them to wrestle already, but I really like this re-introduction to the characters, and we're getting introduced to them through vulnerability and sympathy." [23:00 - 23:17]
Freddie Prinze Jr. also praised the former Tag Team Champion's emotional performance during his vignette talking about The Eater of Worlds.
"He cried, he was being honest with this. He was being truthful with his feelings and it came out naturally. He's not some Academy Award-winning actor, that was real s**t. And he should be commended for it. It helps us care for this character. They ain't going to be heels, I'm telling you that. That's how you earn sympathy, is through tears." [24:26 - 24:38]
