As time passes, WWE stars and personalities often transition into different roles in the Stamford-based promotion. Recently, Kayla Becker, fka Kayla Braxton, revealed why she decided to turn down the company's offer to become a commentator.
Earlier this year, Braxton announced her exit from the Stamford-based promotion. The 33-year-old star ventured into different aspects upon leaving WWE. However, Braxton held no grudge against the company and spoke positively about her time as a host and interviewer.
In an interview with Josh Rocha on The Ring Generals, the 33-year-old personality revealed she was offered multiple times to become a commentator in the Stamford-based promotion:
"I recognize that I have done everything. I didn’t want to be on commentary. They asked me a few times if I wanted to do commentary and I said, 'Hell No'. I don't know how they do that," Becker said. (From 16:11 to 16:20)

Braxton added she had no interest in the role and didn't want to take opportunities away from other personalities in the company:
"What else can I do here? I feel like I’m keeping myself from advancing in other things I want to do. I’m not a spring chicken anymore, I know how women are viewed in the entertainment industry and on television. I’m also keeping other people who want this spot away from it, who might love it and appreciate it more," Becker said. (From 16:21 to 16:37)
