Wrestling veteran Vince Russo recently opened up about The Garcia Twins' prospects now that they are no longer associated with WWE.
Previously known as The Bella Twins, Nikki and Brie were with WWE from 2007 until March 2023, when their contracts with the company expired. The duo only sporadically wrestled since 2015, instead focussing on their business ventures and other projects with the Stamford-based promotion. Following their exit from WWE, they revealed they would go by the name The Garcia Twins going forward.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo, Vince Russo mentioned how Nikki and Brie were known as The Bella Twins for the past several years.
He believes adopting a different name could dwindle their brand value as people aren't aware of who The Garcia Twins are. Russo advised other athletes to build a persona for themselves, which could come in handy once they leave WWE.

"Chris, think about this, and they had 15 years in WWE. All of a sudden, now The Garcia Twins are going to be brought up? Do you think people know what we are talking about? They are not gonna have a clue who The Garcia Twins are. So I'm asking you, Chris, I don't know the answer to that, but I do know if I was under the WWE umbrella, I somehow, some way, would want to get out there my persona of who I'm gonna be after WWE," said Vince Russo. Why did The Garcia Twins leave WWE?
Soon after their WWE departure, Nikki and Brie Garcia discussed how their tenures with the promotion came to an end.
On their The Nikki & Brie Show podcast, the duo revealed that their exit wasn't an acrimonious one but that both parties mutually agreed it was time for them to move on.
"When our contract came up with WWE, mutually, we all knew we needed to head into this next chapter. We are so grateful for the past 17 years. I have learned so much in and out of the ring. I have traveled all over the world, I have incredible fandom. It's been amazing," said Nikki Garcia.
Nikki and Brie haven't gotten into the ring since exiting WWE, and it's hard to imagine them wrestling again, considering they have so much on their plates.
