Omos recently received big praise from former WWE Champion AJ Styles, who also shared an interesting tidbit about The Nigerian Giant.
Omos and Styles were an unstoppable duo back in 2020-21. The Nigerian Giant won the RAW Tag Team Titles with The Phenomenal One on one occasion. Omos later turned heel and fought with Styles, thus ending his alliance with the veteran.
AJ Styles recently had a chat with Inside The Ropes. He explained to Alex McCarthy how it's harder for Omos to learn the craft of pro wrestling, considering his size.
"It's harder being a man of his size to learn how to do what he... it's not easy. I think it's easier for me and guys at this size because I can do almost everything, right? But for him, a guy who's 7'3''-7'4'' you know, with his shoes on he's 7'4'', they don't tell you this. He's 7'3" with his shoes off. So, unless you know how big he is, for him to do what he's doing right now... I'm absolutely 100% loving it. So proud of him because it's not easy being his size." [10:38-11:13]
Omos has nothing but respect and admiration for AJ Styles
Styles is considered by many as one of the greatest wrestlers in the history of WWE. Being by his side for months on end certainly must have been beneficial for Omos, and the Nigerian star learned a lot from him along the way.
Last year, the WWE Superstar spoke with Ryan Satin on Out of Character. While speaking about Styles, he had big praise for The Phenomenal One.
“I could go on about how amazing and wonderful that man is. He has been such a blessing to me, not only in the ring, but out of the ring he has become my big brother. I can talk to him about anything. We have long talks and, even us being separated now, I actually sit back on everything — because I truly have reverence for him.” [H/T WrestleZone]
The Nigerian-American star is currently 29 years old. He has impressed many top names, including The Undertaker and Road Dogg. It remains to be seen what's next for the 7'3'' star on the main roster and if he ever manages to become a main-event level star.
