WWE is gearing up for one of its biggest events, which takes place in less than a week in Saudi Arabia when the company returns to host Night of Champions 2023. Recently, fans reacted to former Divas and SmackDown Women's Champion Natalya's heartfelt message following Monday Night RAW.
Earlier this month, Natalya was drafted to WWE RAW and began a feud with SmackDown Women's Champion Rhea Ripley on the red brand. Last night, it was announced that The Queen of Harts received a title shot at the upcoming Premium Live Event against the champion.
After the show, Natalya shared a heartfelt message which spoke about her struggles in the industry and the trolls she faced online from fans due to her position and longevity in the company. The WWE Universe showcased its support for the veteran ahead of her title match at Night of Champions 2023.
Check out some of the reactions below:
Natalya has been a key player in the women's division, where she has often worked with different superstars in the tag team division. However, it's been nearly a year since Nattie got a one-on-one match for the title on weekly programming or premium live events.
Natalya's last one-on-one title match was at WWE Money in the Bank 2022
Last year, Natalya was working in the tag team division with Shayna Baszler, and even got a shot at the champions before Sasha Banks and Naomi left the company and relinquished the title. After the titles went silent, The Queen of Harts focused on the SmackDown Women's Championship.
Last year, Ronda Rousey won her first SmackDown Women's Championship in WWE when she beat Charlotte Flair in an 'I Quit' match at WrestleMania Backlash 2022. After the event, Natalya stepped up to face the Baddest Woman on the Planet for the title.
Later, Nattie won a six-pack challenge and earned a shot for the SmackDown Women's Championship at WWE Money in the Bank 2022. Ultimately, The Queen of Harts failed to win the title, but she damaged the champion's leg, allowing Liv Morgan to cash in her Money in the Bank contract and win the title.
Natalya spent most of the year on the Blue brand before getting injured by Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler on SmackDown. After her return, she once again worked in the tag team division before getting drafted to Monday Night RAW.
