Since WWE has merged with UFC to form TKO Group Holdings, a plethora of changes in the programming and the backstage environment have been reported. One major name missing WWE's programming following TKO's establishment is Becky Lynch. The Man left the Stamford-based company after her contract reportedly expired in June 2024 and she became a free agent.
Lynch was last seen on WWE programming on the May 27, 2024, edition of RAW, where she challenged Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship in a Steel Cage Match, which she ended up losing.
In a recent edition of the Backstage Pass, Jonathan Coachman addressed Becky's absence from the Stamford-based promotion and recalled rumors related to her pay in the company. The veteran recalled the possible financial disagreement between Lynch and the company, stating it to be the reason The Man has not made an appearance in WWE.
"Roman's at that 15-20 million mark, and TKO doesn’t want to pay anybody… Then you got Cody Rhodes, who’s making 10-15 reportedly. Then Seth, who is her (Becky Lynch) better half, he’s probably in that 3 to 7 million range. So reportedly, she was asking for over 2 million a year… They didn’t do it," Jonathan Coachman said.
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
Coachman went on:
"If they paid her, she’d be on the show. And they’re desperate for females right now… They need Becky Lynch. And I think she banked on it and didn’t understand that TKO doesn’t give a d*mn."
Becky Lynch is set to make a public appearance soon
While Becky Lynch left WWE earlier this year and became a free agent, she is set to make her presence felt at the Vulture Festival, in Los Angeles, California, on November 17, 2024.
The promotional notes for her appearance state that the former Women's World Champion would look back at her legendary career and provide a glimpse of what she has planned for her future. Fans will have to wait to get an update on Lynch's future in the squared circle.
