A wrestling veteran recently questioned the booking of one of WWE's top superstars after he was viciously attacked last night on RAW. Jonathan Coachman claimed that the superstar is being punished because of his wife.

The wrestler in question is none other than Seth Rollins. Despite being fit to compete, Rollins was not booked for a match at WWE SummerSlam 2024. Instead, he was the special guest referee for Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk. Meanwhile, The Visionary was a victim of a surprise and brutal attack from Bronson Reed last night on RAW.

On Behind The Turnbuckle: The Last Word, WWE veteran Jonathan Coachman claimed TKO was punishing The Visionary due to Becky Lynch not renewing her contract.

The Man recently went on hiatus after her deal reportedly expired. She last appeared on RAW when she lost a Women's World Championship Steel Cage Match to Liv Morgan on May 27. Coachman believed Rollins' seemingly questionable booking had to do with Lynch angering the new owners of the company.

"I think it has everything to do with Becky. And whether or not the executives or Triple H wanna admit it or not, Becky was, is, still should be the biggest female star in the company. And when she went on Ariel Helwani's show and basically said, 'I'm not going anywhere. I think I'll be ok.' When we started getting word on the contracts for the male superstars and we're talking in the 5-10-15 million dollars a year range, well, what do you think Becky asked for? I heard it was between 2-4 million dollars a year," he said.

The former interim RAW general manager said Lynch was entitled to what she allegedly asked for due to her status in the company and WrestleMania accolades. Nevertheless, Coachman thought TKO probably did not want to pay her that amount of money.

"Word on the street is TKO, the parent company, doesn't want to pay these superstars like that. (...) Remember their deal with the UFC? Like, they own the UFC. What's the storyline with the UFC all the time? I don't wanna pay the fighters, right? So, what do you think they're doing on this side of the fence now that they run the WWE? I don't wanna pay. Unless I have to, I'm not gonna pay these people. But Tommy, if she's pi**ing them off, you don't think they're gonna take it off on Seth Rollins?" [24:03 - 25:16]

Vince Russo slammed WWE's booking of Seth Rollins on RAW

Last night on RAW, Bronson Reed hit Seth Rollins with six Tsunamis, leaving him in severe pain, coughing blood inside the ring. While discussing the segment on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, former WWE head writer Vince Russo slammed the company for their booking of The Visionary.

Russo claimed there was no reason for Reed to attack Rollins except that WWE wanted to find an opponent for the former World Heavyweight Champion. He mentioned that the angle would eventually end with The Visionary going over.

"People are going nuts, they were going nuts for Bronson Reed and Seth Rollins. They're so bad at booking. Seth doesn't have an opponent, so they have to make an opponent for Seth. So what do they do? Bronson Reed hits him with Typhoon [Tsunami] 15 times [sic]. And what is the outcome gonna be? Seth Rollins over Bronson Reed. What is there to get excited about?" After being victimized by Bronson Reed, how will Seth Rollins respond? Will Russo's prediction come true? Only time will tell.
