A TNA Wrestling legend recently made his first WWE appearance after signing with the company almost seven years ago. The name in question is legendary commentator Jeremy Borash.
The 50-year-old has been working in the world of professional wrestling since 1999. He started as a co-host on WCW TV and then joined TNA/IMPACT Wrestling in 2002. Borash stayed with the Nashville-based company till 2018.
According to reports, Jeremy Borash signed with World Wrestling Entertainment on January 30, 2018, as part of NXT. He is currently the Senior Director of Content and Development of the black-and-silver brand, working alongside Shawn Michaels.
Jeremy Borash debuted in May 2020 as part of the WWE 205 Live broadcast team with Tom Phillips. However, he is set to make his first TV appearance in an upcoming series called WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats).
Borash, alongside Vic Joseph, was on commentary during the taping of Elijah Holyfield and Anthony Luke's match for the abovementioned series, which would air on A&E.
Triple H was full of praise for Jeremy Borash's work in WWE NXT
In an interview in 2021, Triple H talked about Jeremy Borash's behind-the-scenes work in NXT, mentioning how everyone worked together to deliver the best storylines. He added that some people might refer to those programs as "Jeremy Borash specials."
"I think there's opportunities to do all of it at various points and what is funny [is like you mentioned] a Jeremy Borash special like Jeremy Borash specials are across the board in NXT just sometimes you don't realize maybe they are Jeremy Borash specials, I go back all the way to the Tian Sha stuff from the very beginning with the origin stories and everything else across the board, a big part of that, Jeremy, and creatively. We all work on it together. NXT is a very collaborative effort."
Jeremy Borash and Shawn Michaels have been doing an excellent job on the black-and-silver brand. It will be interesting to see what the two have planned for NXT going forward.
