Wrestling veteran suggests Vince McMahon could have cost Damian Priest a major movie role
EC3 recently suggested that former WWE CEO Vince McMahon could have prevented Damian Priest from appearing in Marvel's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Speaking on Sportkeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws show, EC3 stated that Vince McMahon was possibly out of touch with pop culture and didn't understand the magnitude of the project. The veteran also noted that the company didn't believe that Batista's involvement in Guardians of the Galaxy would amount to anything.
"You know how the rumors or the truth how like out of touch Vince McMahon would be with so many things that are modern in pop culture. I mean, Vince would know, but does he see, 'Black Panther, what?' and just like not understand the Marvel aspect. I think when Batista went to Guardians of the Galaxy, didn't WWE kinda like went, 'Yeah, all right, whatever dude, that's gonna work.' And then, it did." [From 5:50 onwards]
