Tommaso Ciampa is one of many WWE Superstars who coast between strong babyfaces and sinister heels on the road but switch back to parent mode during their off days. Ciampa is a noted family man as his wife and daughter have appeared on WWE programming. Despite recent antics on SmackDown, the veteran grappler just made a very special public appearance with Goldie.
The Blackheart married former wrestler and producer Jessie Ward in 2013 after being introduced by Samoa Joe, and they became parents to a daughter named Willow in 2018. Ciampa has had several championship reigns in his near-20-year career, but the biggest may be his two runs with the NXT Championship. The DIY brawler named the title "Goldie" and held it for 237 recognized days from July 18, 2018, until being forced to vacate it due to neck surgery. Three years later, he won the vacant title and held it for another 111 days until being dethroned by Bron Breakker.
Ciampa brought Goldie to his daughter's school today for a special appearance at Teach-In 2024. The proud father took to Instagram Stories and shared several photos from the big day, including a group hug to wrap things up.
"Visiting Willow's class for 'Teach-In 2024' was an honor and a privilege. [black heart emoji] I even brought Goldie out to say hi. [hand waving emoji] [black heart emoji x 3] Group hug to say goodbye," Tommaso Ciampa wrote with the photos below.

Ciampa first made enhancement talent appearances for WWE in 2005 and 2006, then signed a developmental contract to work in OVW in February 2007. He worked there until WWE released him on August 9 of that same year. After making his name around the world, Ciampa returned to WWE in September 2015.
Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano to split?
Last Friday's WWE SmackDown saw The Street Profits challenge The Motor City Machine Guns for the WWE Tag Team Championship until Tommaso Ciampa interfered to force the No-Contest. Johnny Gargano came out to try and calm his partner, but Ciampa shoved him down and then walked away.
The SmackDown incident has increased the rumors of a potential DIY split. WWE shared the following post-show footage of Ciampa reacting to what went down.
"Every man has a choice. I made my choice, he has to make his choice," Ciampa said.
DIY had their first run with the WWE Tag Team Championship earlier this year after dethroning A-Town Down Under on SmackDown. Ciampa and Gargano dropped the titles twenty-eight days later to The Bloodline, who lost the gold to The Motor City Machine Guns after eighty-four days as champions.
