The latest edition of WWE RAW had several big moments, and Tommy Dreamer was happy to see a top star return to the show. The talent returned after a major health scare that required surgery.
Monday Night’s RAW was held in Calgary, Canada, where Natalya made her much-awaited in-ring return. She appeared on the same night that hometown hero Bret Hart appeared on the show.
The Queen of Harts was the surprise partner for Zelina Vega and Lyra Valkyria in their fight against Pure Fusion Collective. She ended up scoring the win for her team.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio after the latest edition of RAW, WWE legend Tommy Dreamer stated that he was happy to see the veteran return. He added that she hadn’t missed a step and still performed at the highest level.
Former WWE writer buries Judgment Day HERE
"I was so, so happy for her. I love Natty Neidhart. I love seeing her on my television show. She goes out there, she looks amazing, her work is amazing. I was fortunate enough to see Natty when I was down in Tampa and TNA went down there and just talking to her because I've known Natty."
He continued:
"I was kind of an integral part of Natty and being in the WWE, and also seeing her tag with Zelina Vega, another one of my people, just really, really made me feel good because Natty deserves all the flowers that Natty gets. And to do it in her hometown, she's such a proud professional wrestler. She's so proud of her family heritage," said Dreamer. (H/T Wrestling Inc.)
Natalya returned to television nearly 100 days after her last match. She took some time off from WWE to undergo eye surgery for astigmatism that had bothered her since childhood.
Natalya wants to face a top WWE RAW star for a major championship
Natalya has been a big name in WWE for several years. Her technique and in-ring work are flawless, and the company has used her to build many top stars during her career.
The Queen of Harts hasn’t won as many titles as other top names in the female division. However, after her return, Natalya has her eyes set on Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship.
Speaking on the Growing Up Von Erich podcast, Natalya said she wanted to win the WWE women’s title once RAW switched to Netflix. She set Liv Morgan on notice with her words.
"I'm on Monday nights. Right now we're on the USA Network, but in January we're going to Netflix. So, it's gonna be a big change for us, but it's gonna be really cool. And I am hoping to win that Women's Championship. So, Liv Morgan, you better watch out," she said.
It would be great to see The Queen of Harts get a good top title run that can help her accomplish a lot more in her career. She has given a lot to the company and helped many stars grow around her.
