A top-level wrestler has suffered a serious injury that will see him put on the sideline for almost a year. The star has ended up dealing with a serious injury that he may need a long time to recover from.
Jordan Oliver has become one of the top names in the indies and is currently wrestling for Game Changer Wrestling. At a recent show in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on July 5, he faced another big name, Charles Mason. During the match, Mason worked on Oliver’s knee and was written off the show.
As it turns out, he has suffered a legitimate ACL injury. GCW acknowledged the injury in a post. Now, Oliver has also confirmed the injury in a video on social media. He said that he hurt his knee in June first, and while doctors advised him that his knee was badly hurt, he still continued to wrestle. Since then, he got an MRI and learned that his ACL was torn, and he was still competing.

Finally, when the doctors informed him that he could get arthritis if he continued wrestling with an injury and could also develop other long-term issues, he chose to take a step back. The wrestler informed fans that he would be out for a very long time and that it could be 9 - 12 months before he wrestles again.
Jordan Oliver has most of his career as a wrestler in front of him
Taking time off to heal makes the most sense for Oliver at this time, given his age. The wrestler is only 25 years of age and has already developed quite a prominent name.
On top of that, by going through a proper recovery process, he will likely avoid further long-term complications in his career, as injury can be very taxing on anyone’s body.
Fans will have to wait to see if the GCW star returns to the company or chooses to go to WWE or elsewhere in the future when fit.
