WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 will go down at the Ovo Hydro Arena in Glasgow, Scotland, this Saturday, June 15. Ahead of the premium live event, current Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn has opened up about his title match against Chad Gable.
Following King and Queen of the Ring, Master Gable demanded an IC Title rematch from Zayn. The star has also been disrespecting his Alpha Academy teammates, Otis, Akira Tozawa, and Maxxine Durpi.
This week on Monday Night RAW, Zayn defeated Otis in a singles match. Then, the Alpha Academy leader took the champ out and slapped the 32-year-old star. However, Otis reached his boiling point and was almost ready to attack Master Gable before exiting the ring.
While speaking to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, The Underdog from the Underground shared that he is excited about his upcoming match at Clash at the Castle. Zayn also mentioned that "something consequential" may happen in Scotland, subtly referencing Otis turning his back on Chad Gable.

"Even in WWE, like you are lucky to get to do a good storyline that kind of has people on the edge of their seat, like 'What's going to happen next? Oh, when it's gonna happen?' It's just the funniest thing in the whole world, so I'm looking forward. I'm sure something will happen, something consequential is going to happen this Saturday because it feels like it's really at a boiling point," he said. [23:36 - 23:55]

WWE veteran says Sami Zayn's backstage segment with Otis did not make sense
Wrestling veteran Vince Russo recently criticized a backstage segment between the former Bloodline member and Otis on WWE RAW. Zayn, before his promo on the red show, met the Alpha Academy powerhouse backstage.
The Underdog from the Underground was seen convincing Otis to leave Master Gable's side. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, the former WWE writer stated that Sami Zayn's being friendly with the Alpha Academy member did not make sense at all.
"You got Sami Zayn backstage literally standing right next to Otis. Now we get mambi-pambi, sissy marry talk. Forget all that, he’s standing right next to Otis, who laid him out last week. I remember Gable told Otis to lay him out and he laid him out. Now Sami is standing next to Otis, having a conversation with him. And people wonder why I have a problem with Sami," Vince Russo said.
