The Undertaker's legendary WWE career spanned over three decades, characterized by his supernatural gimmick, imposing presence, and countless unforgettable matches. The Deadman is a dream opponent for several current WWE Superstars, including a top champion on RAW.
Damian Priest ascended to the main roster in January 2021, shortly after The Demon of Death Valley said goodbye to pro wrestling in November 2020. The Archer of Infamy became the WWE World Heavyweight Champion after cashing his Money in the Bank briefcase on Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania XL.
Following this win, The Phenom congratulated The Judgment Day member backstage in a video shared by the company. Although both men have crossed paths backstage, their on-screen dark personas never collided in a storyline or a match.
During an interview with Infinity Sports Network ahead of WWE SummerSlam 2024 in Cleveland, Damian Priest was asked to name his dream opponent if he could go back in time. El Campeon instantly picked The Undertaker, adding that the former Ministry of Darkness leader was the reason he fell in love with the wrestling business.

"The Undertaker. He was my favorite growing up; that was the reason why I fell in love with this business. Just the way he made me feel, the emotions that I felt watching this guy, whether it was excitement, fear, whatever. I just knew I need to make somebody feel those emotions for me. He got me excited, and then he's just a cool character, right? He's like Batman, biker, and evil," he said. [6:32-7:00]
