WWE Hall of Famer, The Undertaker is a legend in the wrestling business for plenty of reasons. This includes several incarnations of his on-screen persona, from "Deadman" to "The Last Outlaw," and his signature move set which fans would recognize anywhere.
After SmackDown went off the air last night, and before his major title defense at SummerSlam, Damian Priest used the move made famous by The Phenom on The Miz. The arm twist rope walk is now known as Old School. The legendary star himself originally began using the move as a homage to Don Jardine, also known as The Spoiler.
It was during an Eight-Man Tag Team dark match, featuring The Judgment Day against The Awesome Truth, Jey Uso, and Rey Mysterio. The babyfaces picked up the win much to the delight of the crowd present.
A video clip has been making rounds on Instagram. In it, Priest hits the A-Lister with the Old School and later falls prey to a Spear by Jey Uso, who channeled Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's taunt right before he hit his big move. All of these sequences felt like a major throwback to the Attitude Era.

The Undertaker retired from in-ring competition in 2020, while Damian Priest only found his footing on the main roster two years later. Even before calling it a day, The Phenom only made sporadic appearances for the promotion.
Priest told Infinity Sports Network that facing The Undertaker would be his ultimate dream match as he grew up watching the 59-year-old perform in WWE. He added that the legendary wrestler played a key role in him falling in love with the business.
"The Undertaker. He was my favorite growing up, that was the reason why I fell in love with this business. Just the way he made me feel, the emotions that I felt watching this guy, whether it was excitement, fear, whatever. I just knew I need to make somebody feel those emotions for me. He got me excited, and then he's just a cool character, right? He's like Batman, biker, and evil," he said.
After winning the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL, a first for The Judgment Day star, The Undertaker caught up with Priest and his family backstage to congratulate the 41-year-old WWE Superstar. Whether he walks out of SummerSlam prolonging his first reign bears watching.
