Triple H has sent a heartfelt message to a popular WWE star after she suffered a major loss on the latest edition of RAW. The Game lauded Dakota Kai for her efforts to capture the newly-minted Women's Intercontinental Championship.

Kai and Lyra Valkyria faced off in the finals of the tournament to crown the first-ever Women's Intercontinental Champion. Several fans were rooting for Dakota Kai to finally win a singles title, as she had been part of the Stamford-based promotion for nearly a decade. However, this wasn't meant to be, as Valkyria emerged victorious on RAW and was crowned the first Women's IC Champ.

WWE uploaded a clip of Kai backstage following the loss, where she was visibly emotional and stated that she would continue to chase the gold. Triple H was quick to respond to Dakota Kai's heartbreaking interview, praising the 36-year-old star for her valiant performance even though she failed to come out on top.

"No @WWE Superstar does it alone. It takes great opponents to make great champions. Congratulations to @ImKingKota," tweeted HHH.

Triple H shared an emotional moment with Lyra Valkyria after she won on WWE RAW

Following Lyra Valkyria's first title win on the main roster, The Game congratulated her backstage with his customary post. He also sent a message to Valkyria, writing that it was only the beginning of greater things to come.

Check it out below:

"Congratulations to your first-ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion @Real_Valkyria. The beginning of a brand new legacy…in a brand new era," tweeted Triple H.

It's safe to assume that Lyra Valkyria's win on RAW has solidified her position as a future main eventer. While it would be great to see the 28-year-old star battle it out with newer challengers on the Monday Night show, fans would love to see Dakota Kai get another chance at the Women's IC Title after her emotional loss.
