Trick Williams confronted by Jey Uso and another WWE star on NXT; potential new challenger teased

Trick Williams opened this week's episode of WWE NXT and was confronted by Jey Uso and Wes Lee. He had defeated Ethan Page last week to capture the title.

CM Punk served as the special guest referee for the bout. Trick celebrated his win during an in-ring segment on the latest episode of NXT. He stated that he knew people had their eyes on him, and just then, Wes Lee showed up in the crowd.

The Kardiac Kid congratulated the new champion but stated that Trick Williams wasn't the only one who had a career-defining moment, as he beat Zachary Wentz last week in a Street Fight. He then added that he wants to focus on becoming an NXT Triple Crown Champion.

Trick Williams told him that he had been there before, and it ended with him getting his hand raised. He was referring to being double-crossed by his former best friend Carmelo Hayes. Wes Lee told Trick that he wasn't 'It,' and that he would be the one to dethrone him.

Jey Uso then showed up and he and Trick had a moment in the ring. It'll be interesting to see whether Wes Lee will be the next challenger for Trick's NXT Championship.
