Triple H breaks silence on The Rock's uncertain WWE status ahead of WrestleMania 41

One of the biggest questions marks in WWE at the start of 2025 is the potential status of The Rock for WrestleMania 41. There are conflicting reports regarding The Final Boss' availability for The Grandest Stage of Them All. However, Triple H has broken his silence about the issue and has since commented on it.

Some reports indicated that The Rock won't be available for WrestleMania 41, affecting WWE's plans for the event. Others suggest that The Great One will likely have a match in Las Vegas or at least a possible appearance.

Speaking on the SI Media podcast with Jimmy Traina, Triple H was requested to clear the air over The Rock's status for WrestleMania 41. The WWE's Chief Content Officer confirmed that Rocky is indeed The Final Boss due to his stature in Hollywood before teasing a potential surprise.

"The one thing about The Rock, you can call him The Final Boss, in a way it's an accurate statement. He is, I don't want to say more so than anybody else, but he is the biggest box office star in the world. He has earned the right, and is in the position to do what he wants to do. He does what is right for WWE and the projects that he works on."

He continued further:

"He's super collaborative with me and super collaborative with Nick on what we want to do, contrary to what a lot of people think. Time will tell. I don't want to give anything away, but I do believe that as moments appear here that are huge game-changing moments, he's a game-changer. That's what he does and who he is," Triple H said. The Final Boss' last WWE appearance was at the end of Bad Blood when he stared at Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. He even gestured a throat slash though it's unclear at whom it was directed.

The Rock will be in Los Angeles ahead of WWE RAW's debut on Netflix

There have been rumors about Rocky's potential appearance in WWE RAW's first-ever episode on Netflix this January 6. It will be held at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

In a post on Instagram, The Great One confirmed that he'll be in Los Angeles a day before RAW. He will be among the presenters at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, so there's a chance for him to surprise the WWE Universe the next day.

The Rock's film Moana 2 has been nominated for Best Animated Featured Film along with Flow, Inside Out 2, Memoir of a Snail, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, and The Wild Robot.
