Triple H confirmed major WWE news ahead of tonight's edition of SmackDown. Tonight's edition of the blue brand will air live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The promotion announced a new competition series will debut on the A&E Network next year. The show is titled "WWE LFG" (Legends & Future Greats) and will feature young stars competing against each other for a contract with the company. Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Booker T, Bubba Ray Dudley, The Undertaker, and Mickie James are set to appear on the show.
The Game took to social media to comment on the new show and claimed that they would be showing what really goes into becoming a star in the company.
"For the first time ever, we're showing you what REALLY goes into being a @WWE Superstar...", he wrote.

The tournament for the Women's United States Championship is set to continue tonight on SmackDown. Tiffany Stratton will be in action against Elektra Lopez and Naomi in the tournament. A major title match is reportedly set to take place on tonight's show as well.
Former WWE writer criticizes Triple H as a booker
Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently took Triple H to task for his booking in the company.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo claimed that Triple H was overrated as a booker. The veteran noted that the 55-year-old could not be called a great booker after the Undisputed WWE Championship was not defended at Survivor Series. Cody Rhodes will be defending the title against Kevin Owens next weekend at Saturday Night's Main Event.
"Don't tell me Triple H is a great booker when you have one of the big four and you don't even have your champion defending the title. That's crappy booking. That's crappy. I couldn't imagine me presenting a Survivor Series card to Vince McMahon and the WWE title is not defended. I couldn't even imagine that." [From 33:00 onwards]

Tonight's edition of the blue brand is the first episode of SmackDown following Survivor Series. Roman Reigns pinned Solo Sikoa during the Men's WarGames Match to earn a victory for the OG Bloodline at the premium live event this past Saturday night. It will be interesting to see what the company has planned for tonight's episode of SmackDown.
