Triple H congratulated two major WWE Superstars following their historic wins at Crown Jewel 2024. The premium live event aired live from Saudi Arabia today and featured seven matches on the card.
Cody Rhodes defeated Gunther in the main event to become the inaugural Men's Crown Jewel Champion. Liv Morgan also got the better of Nia Jax earlier in the night to capture the Women's Crown Jewel Championship. The promotion shared a video on social media following WWE Crown Jewel, and Triple H congratulated both Morgan and Rhodes on their historic victories.
"I couldn't think of two greater representatives for the first time ever than both of these two. I know how hard they've worked. I know what their careers have been. For both of you, I've had the pleasure of witnessing it from the very beginning. From moment one," he said.
The King of Kings noted that he had known The American Nightmare before he entered the wrestling business and saw a ton of potential in Liv Morgan early in her career.
"To knowing you [Cody Rhodes] before you were ever in the business, and just a young man with a gleam in his eye thinking about it. To a young lady [Liv Morgan] that I met the first time who just... I knew had all the potential in the world. So, I could tell some funny stories but I won't. Congratulations to both of you, you truly represent what it means to be WWE Superstars," Triple H added.
Bill Apter believes Nia Jax will blame popular WWE star for her loss at Crown Jewel
Legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter believes that Nia Jax will blame Tiffany Stratton for her loss against Liv Morgan at WWE Crown Jewel.
The Buff Barbie attempted to cash in her Money in the Bank contract during the Crown Jewel Championship Match between Morgan and Jax but ultimately never got the opportunity to do so. Nia Jax was confused by Stratton's involvement in the bout, and Bill Apter believes it could lead to the end of their alliance on SmackDown.
"Nia will totally blame Tiffany Stratton for the loss. This will move the needle closer to 'Tiffy Time' and Jax coming face-to-face, then Tiffany eventually cashing in on Jax, and winning the title," Bill Apter said.
Triple H currently serves as WWE's Chief Content Officer. It will be interesting to see what the company's creative team has planned moving forward as the build toward Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 is now underway.
