The late great Bray Wyatt reportedly had big plans with a former NXT champion, which was described as a "dream project." However, Triple H was the main reason it didn't happen.

Wyatt was unexpectedly released by WWE in July 2021, sending shockwaves throughout the industry. Karrion Kross followed suit, receiving his pink slip four months later.

Speaking on the Notsam Wrestling podcast, Kross revealed that he was working on a "dream project" with Bray Wyatt in 2022. It was an episodic wrestling show, compete with storylines. They were looking to make at least one season of it, but plans changed after Triple H brought them back to WWE:

"(Bray) and I were about to do an episodic wrestling show. We both got a pilot and the show was written primarily around him and I, and this giant confrontation between him and I building for the first season. Hunter reached out to me, and he said like, 'Let's talk next week.' So I buzz him and I'm like, 'Dude, I think he's going to ask us to come back. What do we do? It was feeling pretty serious that the show was going to (happen.)"

He added:

"We just didn't know when it was going to take off. We were both really excited about it, like a dream project. And he's like, 'Dude, I think we got to go home.' He's like, 'Hunter got the ship. Is there a better person to work for on the entire planet? I was like, 'No, there's not,'" Kross said. [From 32:13 to 33:00]

Bray Wyatt was supposed to work with Karrion Kross before his death

Before going on hiatus in February 2023, Bray Wyatt was working on a program with Bobby Lashley. Wyatt would pass away six months later without making an official return to WWE television. However, there were things and storylines planned for him, including a program with Karrion Kross.

Bo Dallas, Bray Wyatt's real-life brother and currently working under the Uncle Howdy persona, told the Dead Meat Presents podcast that they were supposed to work with Kross. Despite the circumstances of what happened, Dallas is happy to be feuding with The Final Testament because of their history with The Herald of Doomsday:

"We had a lot of conversations with Kross and had plans with Kross, a lot of stuff going into the future before all that happened. So to get the second chance to work with him, and he has a mind a lot like ours and loves a lot of the stuff that we love, so it's awesome. Every day at work is just a great day," Dallas said.
