He's been steering the ship creatively in the WWE over the past couple of years but Vince Russo still doesn't seem impressed by Triple H's output. The veteran recently opined on The Game not learning an important lesson.
Vince Russo worked as part of WWE's creative team decades ago, when Vince McMahon helped usher in the Attitude Era. Russo has been involved with many promotions and was confident in his ability to produce a captivating TV product. However, Russo didn't have the same expectations from Triple H. The former head writer recalled how Mr. McMahon never watched other television shows and was stuck in the wrestling bubble.
As he revealed on the latest edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo felt Paul Levesque, too, wasn't updated with modern television and it might be why some of WWE's content is supposedly bland.
"They don't know what captivating television is. They don't. Chris, you know how I know what captivating television is? Because I watch television. I don't think Triple H watches television. Vince didn't watch television, I can tell you that. I don't think he watches television. No, he is probably watching wrestling tapes in his spare time." [From 26:40 onwards]

Vince Russo wasn't sure WWE had anybody behind the scenes with their fingers on the pulse. Nick Khan's name popped up and Russo noted that while the WWE President might have nothing to do with the booking, Khan was "the money guy" in the company and doing incredibly well in his role.
"If anybody does, it does not show at all. No, Nick Khan has nothing to do with the creative. He is the money guy and he does a great job as the money guy." [27:44 - 28:00]
With Survivor Series: WarGames up next, Triple H would want to make a huge statement as WWE prepares to enter another exciting era in 2025.
