Triple H became WWE's Chief Content Officer after replacing Vince McMahon as the company's creative figurehead in July 2022. In a recent video, former WWE star Ryback explained why The Game will never be on the same level as his father-in-law.

Ryback worked for WWE between 2004 and 2016. The 41-year-old grew up as a huge fan of Triple H. However, he struggled to form a good relationship with the 14-time world champion when they interacted behind the scenes.

On his Ryback TV YouTube channel, The Big Guy claimed WWE's head of creative lied to him multiple times:

"I wanna make one thing perfectly clear, Hunter [Triple H] is not Vince McMahon. He's so far below in so many different ways. Vince is easy to deal with on this. Hunter, though, will try to BS. His voice gets all high pitched when he lies. He's very easy to recognize the patterns of behavior he has when he is just essentially a bulls**t artist." [1:13 – 1:32]

Ryback's WWE contract expired on August 8, 2016. McMahon wanted to keep the former Intercontinental Champion, but he opted to leave after rejecting a new deal.

Ryback recalls his disagreement with Triple H

On the February 8, 2016, episode of RAW, Bray Wyatt defeated Ryback in a seven-minute match. The bout was originally supposed to last less than a minute before the latter spoke up to WWE management.

Ahead of the show, Ryback told Triple H exactly what he thought of him in a heated backstage discussion:

"I simply countered every one of his points and shut him down completely, in which I looked him straight in the eyes and I told him he was the biggest disappointment in my entire career from loving him as a kid, and as an adult he just let me down time and time again, which he put his head down and says, 'Don't say that.' I looked him right in his f***ing eyes, I said, 'It's the f***ing truth.'" [1:38 – 1:58]

Since leaving WWE, Ryback has amassed 440k YouTube subscribers and created the Feed Me More Nutrition supplement brand. He plans to return to wrestling when he recovers from a long-term shoulder injury.
