Triple H has been leading WWE's Creative for over two years. However, a wrestling veteran suggested The Game might be forced to step down due to the ongoing legal issues related to his father-in-law, Vince McMahon.
In 2022, Triple H assumed the position of Chief Content Officer following Vince's initial retirement. Although the former chairman returned in 2023, his son-in-law remained in his position. Last year, the 79-year-old left the company again amid being sued by former employee Janel Grant for alleged sexual assault and sex trafficking. Vince, Linda McMahon, WWE, and TKO were also sued for allegedly allowing open, rampant abuse of "ring boys" in the 1980s and 1990s.
Speaking on the Cafe de Rene podcast, wrestling veteran Bin Hamin claimed Triple H might have to step down and leave the Stamford-based company if Vince's legal issues got worse:
"How dirty is this McMahon stuff gonna get? Because that could definitely splatter on Triple H and Steph where they have to step down," he said. [From 01:29:22 to 1:29:28]

Will Triple H leave WWE in 2025?
On his The Brand podcast, former WWE head writer Vince Russo addressed Triple H's future. The wrestling veteran predicted the 14-time World Champion would leave the company in 2025 because of developments in the lawsuits against his father-in-law.
Russo suggested former head writer and The Rock's close friend and business partner Brian Gewirtz could replace The Game as head of Creative:
"I think Hunter will be gone from the WWE in 2025. I'm sorry, these lawsuits are gonna develop. A lot more is gonna come out of them. Ari Emanuel has The Rock on the board. Ari Emanuel and The Rock have a very very very long relationship. And The Rock is so key to this because why do I need Triple H if I got The Rock? You don't think The Rock doesn't have a laundry list of people that he'd want to hire and bring into the fold? Brian Gewirtz at the top of that list," he said.
ECW legend Tommy Dreamer recently suggested a power struggle storyline between The Rock and Triple could take place. It would be interesting to see if that would happen upon The Final Boss' return from his hiatus.
