Triple H meets returning WWE legend on RAW; sends a message

Triple H met a legend backstage during WWE RAW after his return. The legend returned to the company after more than two years away from the company.

Bret Hart was on RAW this week, going out to the ring in front of his home country, Canada. The Calgary show saw him come out, but he got interrupted by Gunther. The World Heavyweight Champion mocked Hart and said that Bret's long-time hated rival, Goldberg, had been Gunther's favorite wrestler. He also said that while Hart had been the best, Gunther was now the best there is and the best there will be.

Sami Zayn interrupted proceedings and sent Bret Hart retreating, but when he got to the back, he was greeted by Triple H. The Game asked him how being out on RAW had felt, and he said that he was very thankful that the legendary star had agreed to be at the show.

"Thanks Bret. You did great. You feel good? You feel great? Thanks very much for being here. Thanks for being here. Feel good? Thank you, appreciate it," he said.

This comes after Hart was reportedly dealing with an illness earlier in the night, according to Fightful Select.

It remains to be seen if Triple H has any more plans for Bret Hart in the Gunther story.
