"Triple H needs to tell the WWE wrestlers to stop being unprofessional" - Fans shocked by top star firing shots at AEW

Wrestling fans are shocked that a top WWE Superstar took shots at AEW during a recent interview.

WWE SmackDown is coming to Jacksonville, the home of the Jaguars and All Elite Wrestling, on May 17. Grayson Waller discussed the blue brand's upcoming show in the city and seemingly dissed AEW in an interview on the Going Ringside podcast.

"Finally, some good wrestling in Jacksonville. I feel like it's been years since we've seen some really good wrestling in Jacksonville. That's what we're bringing back."

Wrestling fans were divided by what Grayson Waller said about WWE's return to Jacksonville. Some thought that it was unprofessional and that Triple H should not have allowed his stars to take shots at AEW.

"Triple H needs to tell the WWE wrestlers to stop being unprofessional," a fan wrote .

"Big talk from someone who's gonna be wrestling for AEW in 2026," Posted this fan.

"So are the E fans calling this unprofessional or is it double standards? Let’s find out," wrote another.

"He's not included in that "good wrestling" that will be brought back," posted a fan.

However, many liked that Waller was playing a heel and getting some heat:

"Well at least AEW will have material this week," @commented a fan.

"Here goes people whining and moping about this when it's actually funny asf. Having friendly battles between two companies is hilarious and ppl should enjoy when both companies do this," a fan shared.

WWE's Grayson Waller also took shots at the Jaguars and their QB Trevor Lawrence

In addition to AEW, Grayson Waller also took shots at the Jacksonville Jaguars and their quarterback, Trevor Lawrence. The Jaguars are owned by Shahid Khan, Tony Khan's father and co-owner of AEW.

"Now, we're coming to Jacksonville," Waller said. "It's not like you can support the Jaguars, that team sucks. Trevor Lawrence, he's horrendous. Pretty much any sports team in Jacksonville sucks. Maybe you want to come see a real champion because you won't be seeing one anytime soon."

The Jaguars have only made the playoffs twice under the ownership of Shahid Khan. They reached the AFC Championship Game in 2017 but lost to the New England Patriots. They have also only had three winning seasons since Khan purchased the team.

Lawrence, on the other hand, had a horrible rookie season but made it up with solid back-to-back campaigns in the past two seasons. He'll have competition in upcoming season after the Jaguars acquired Mac Jones from the Patriots.
