The anticipation for WWE RAW's premiere episode on Netflix has been off the charts lately. The Stamford-based company announced that the red brand would debut on the streaming platform on January 6 from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.
While the announcement garnered a lot of attention, WWE also advertised some major names for the show including Roman Reigns, The Rock, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and Rhea Ripley, among others. This has hyped up fans for the history-making episode of the red brand.
According to WrestleVotes during a live Q&A with Bill Apter on Backstage Pass, there are still a plethora of names that have not been advertised for the show. The WWE insider also confirmed that RAW's debut on Netflix would be a three-hour show, hinting that a lot of surprises could be expected as well.
“For sure that’s three hours. And there’s definitely some names that they left off,” reported WrestleVotes. [16:10 onwards]
With multiple legendary names already advertised, and seemingly a lot more kept out of sight, the Triple H-led creative could have an abundance of big moments on the anvil for the WWE Universe. Time will tell what the company has planned for the history-making episode of RAW.
