Triple H has reacted after an unexpected name appeared in the crowd on this week's edition of WWE SmackDown. The Game shared a picture with current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira and shared a heartfelt message on social media.

UFC stars appearing during WWE shows and vice-versa is not a new phenomenon. Especially now that both companies are owned by the same parent organization, TKO Holding Groups, these crossovers have become more common. The most recent example went down on this week's SmackDown, where Alex Pereria was spotted in the crowd.

The UFC Light Heavyweight Champion even met Roman Reigns and exchanged shirts with him backstage at the show in New York. Now, Triple H has shared a picture with Pereria on his X (fka Twitter) account and wished him luck in his upcoming title defense.

"Great to have the Champ@AlexPereiraUFC at #SmackDown last night in Buffalo. Excited for what’s to come in your career, and can’t wait to see your next title defense," wrote Triple H.

Vince Russo thinks Triple H could leave WWE in 2025

On a recent edition of his The Brand podcast, Vince Russo shared a bleak prediction about The Game's future in the Stamford-based promotion.

Russo believes Triple H could be gone from WWE by next year and potentially be replaced by The Rock's close friend and creative partner, Brian Gewirtz.

"Guys, I have said this and I am not gonna go off of my prediction. I think Hunter will be gone from the WWE in 2025. I'm sorry, these lawsuits are gonna develop. A lot more is gonna come out of them. Ari Emanuel has The Rock on the board. Ari Emanuel and The Rock have a very very very long relationship. And The Rock is so key to this because why do I need Triple H if I got The Rock? You don't think The Rock doesn't have a laundry list of people that he'd want to hire and bring into the fold? Brian Gewirtz at the top of that list. I don't really see a need for Hunter if Ari's got Rock in his back pocket," he said.

Ever since he took over WWE's creative control, Hunter has taken the promotion to new creative heights and although it doesn't seem like his position is any danger, stranger things have happened.
