Multiple significant matches are being pitched for WWE WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. Fans are highly anticipating the return of The Rock. The Final Boss returned earlier this year and even competed in a match at WrestleMania XL. Some earlier reports suggested The Great One might miss this year’s Show of Shows. However, sources close to WWE have shed light on Triple H’s stance on Rocky’s comeback.
The new year is going to be noteworthy for the Stamford-based promotion, and the Triple H-led creative team has been working tirelessly to craft the best storylines. According to a recent report from Ibou of WrestlePurists, Triple H wants eight-time WWE Champion, The Rock to work WrestleMania 41 as his goal is to maximize business. The Final Boss commands a huge fan following, and it's always profitable when The Great One appears for the promotion.
A fan replied to an earlier tweet on Ibou's X (formerly Twitter) account, asking whether Triple H wants The Rock at WrestleMania 41.
“Of course he does. The priority is maximising business,” he wrote.
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
The Rock’s last appearance in the Stamford-based promotion came earlier this year at Bad Blood 2024. He just stood on the ramp and set his sights on Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Jimmy Uso, who were in the ring. Before leaving, The Final Boss counted to three on his fingers and made a cryptic throat-slash gesture.
The Rock might misuse his powers to kick out Triple H says ex-WWE employee
This year, The Rock and Triple H had a brief altercation during the WrestleMania XL press conference. Fans witnessed the tension between the two legends escalating, as Rocky pushed to revoke Hunter’s orders.
While speaking on The Coach and Bro Wrestling Show on Backstage Pass, former WWE personality Jonathan Coachman shared his thoughts on The Rock's Final Boss gimmick and speculated that The Great One might misuse his power as a Board Member of the TKO Group, and might expel Triple H.
However, this is speculative at the moment. It will be interesting to see if The Rock will return next year, and if he does, what plans the creative team might have in store for him in the coming months.
