WWE Head of Creator Triple H recently talked about a major change that will take place after moving to Netflix next year. While currently only RAW is set to move to the online streaming platform in the United States, Canada, UK, and Latin America, the rest of the world will be able to enjoy all the shows and premium live events on the streaming service, starting from January 2025.

The wrestling world has often criticized television networks for censoring the shows. It sometimes results in the feed turning black or the audio being cut out during specific segments.

During a recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Triple H opened up about the wrestling promotion's programming moving to Netflix. He further talked about the current restrictions faced by the company on their current telecast partners.

"We spend large chunks of our time every day when we're not thinking about the business at hand now. We're thinking about those moments. In the fall, as the shows shift around, and then once we get to Netflix. Netflix is a completely different animal. It's a streaming service. How are commercials going to work? How are breaks going to work? What's the length of time? What are the restrictions or not restrictions? Being on Fox, if the crowd chants 'holy sh*t' or something worse, they take the audio. Sometimes, they take the picture and the audio out, and it's a black screen," he said.

Hunter mentioned how The Rock's promo on SmackDown ahead of WrestleMania XL got censored on television while claiming that the global juggernaut won't face a similar problem on Netflix:

"The Rock comes in, and you can't tell what The Rock to do. He does what he does. We won't have those issues with Netflix. The ability to be live globally and be seen live everywhere is a game-changing moment. In many ways, that's sort of where the world is heading, [which is] Streaming services. The NFL is sticking its toe in the water. NBA, every sport. It's why this Netflix deal, for us, is so game-changing, and everyone is going to be watching us in January, especially other sports, from the business side, they're going to be watching to see what we do, what we do differently, and how it's received."

Triple H shared his reaction to another major WWE deal

WWE recently announced its partnership with Indiana Sports Corp. As part of the deal, Indianapolis will host WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble, with the 2025 edition of the Royal Rumble already being announced to air live from Lucas Oil Stadium.

Following the announcement, Triple H took to X/Twitter to share the announcement video while mentioning the magnitude of the historic deal.

WWE is currently in the middle of a highly successful period, breaking records one after the other. It remains to be seen what the future holds for the wrestling promotion under Triple H's creative leadership.
