Triple H has been at the helm of WWE for almost two years after Vince McMahon stepped down for good. The Game has welcomed a new era in the company and whilst Stephanie has been able to make various appearances at The Hall of Fame and WrestleMania, Triple H recently revealed that there is a reason why she won't return to the company full-time.
Whilst speaking on the SI Media Podcast, The WWE CCO admitted that Stephanie McMahon is enjoying having some time away from the spotlight. The King of Kings also stated that they are in a formative time where they want to be there for their children:
“I would love Steph back. Here is the thing with her. She stepped away—our kids are at an age. We got one in college, and over the next four years, the rest will be in college. We have three girls, and it’s a really formative time, a really enjoyable time having some downtime.” [H/T: Ringside News]
Triple H and Stephanie have three daughters, the youngest of which will be 19 this year, which means that they are all going through an interesting time in their lives.
Stephanie McMahon has been away from WWE for almost two years
Stephanie McMahon has been part of the business ever since she was a teenager. She has worked on and off-screen for several decades. The Billion Dollar Princess even became the Women's Champion at one point.
After her father announced his initial retirement in 2022, Stephanie McMahon stepped in as the replacement Chairwoman for a while but after Vince made his comeback to sell the Stamford-based company, Steph parted ways with the promotion.
Now, her husband husband Triple H has a stranglehold on WWE and is taking the company in new directions. RAW's move to Netflix next Monday shows just how much Triple H has been able to change in such a small amount of time.
