One of Triple H's best friends, Kevin Nash, provided an update on Charlotte Flair amid her WWE return rumors. Flair has been out since December due to a knee injury and continuously teasing her comeback on social media.
The Queen suffered a serious knee injury on the December 8, 2023, episode of SmackDown. She was battling Asuka with Damage CTRL lurking around the ring when the freak incident happened. She was diagnosed with a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus, undergoing surgery back in January.
Speaking on the latest episode of the Kliq This podcast, one of the topics discussed was Nia Jax's reign and the potential superstar who could dethrone her. Nash picked Charlotte as the "best bet" to beat Jax and shared an update on her recovery.
"Charlotte Flair at 5'10" probably is your best bet against her. I saw Charlotte back at the Performance Center with a knee brace getting ready to make a return," Nash said. [0:48 - 1:07]

Backstage update on plans for Charlotte Flair's return
According to Fightful Select (H/T Wrestling, Inc.), WWE is preparing creative plans for Charlotte Flair's potential return from her knee injury. The company is reportedly looking at Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton as her potential opponents once she makes her comeback.
However, the report also noted that these are just preliminary plans in place and just an idea for Flair's return. The Queen has not been cleared to return yet and there's still no timetable for when she'll be fully recovered. It's her first major injury but it's a serious one since she tore two knee ligaments and the meniscus.
Flair has been relatively healthy for the majority of her career and her knee injury was a freak accident. She has been regularly posting updates on social media ranging from knee exercises to stem cell therapies. The most serious part of her injury was the ACL tear since the recovery time for it is from six to nine months.
