WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has addressed Jacob Fatu's injury at SummerSlam 2024. The Bloodline's Enforcer got hurt during the main event of the show when he splashed Cody Rhodes through the announce table.
Fatu seemingly had an awkward landing, as he was clutching his ankle and unable to stand following the spot. It seemed like a serious injury in real-time, with The Game confirming that The Samoan Werewolf is banged up. He also said that Logan Paul is hurt, too, following his match against LA Knight at SummerSlam.
During the post-show press conference, Triple H mentioned that both WWE stars are "a little banged up." He is hoping neither situation is serious, although they remain uncertain for now:
"Unfortunately, (Jacob Fatu) got a little bit banged up in that last match. The only two real… Logan's a little banged up, as he should be, and Jacob's a little banged up. I'll see where that nets out here in a little bit. Hopefully nothing serious, but it was bugging him a little bit, the leg, so we'll see where he is," said Triple H. [1:06:45 onwards]
It remains to be seen how serious both injuries are. Hopefully, neither Jacob Fatu nor Logan Paul's issues require any time off. That would be unfortunate following such an enjoyable SummerSlam.
