Triple H has sent a heartfelt message to his best friend on social media ahead of tonight's WWE RAW. Tonight's edition of the red brand will feature the return of CM Punk and a former champion is rumored to be kicking off the show.
Shawn Michaels and Triple H are both retired from the ring but are still making a major impact in WWE. The King of Kings took to social media today to send a message to Shawn Michaels on his 59th birthday and praised him for his work this past year in NXT. He claimed that The Heartbreak Kid was "cooking" with his bookings in NXT and added a picture of his best friend in a chef's hat.
"I know @ShawnMichaels is busy cooking over at @WWENXT… but wanted to make sure he takes a moment to celebrate all he’s accomplished this past year. What a ride it’s been. Happy birthday, buddy," he wrote.

Vince Russo criticizes Triple H during the build for WWE SummerSlam
Former WWE writer, Vince Russo feels that Triple H has dropped the ball in the build for SummerSlam next month.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show, the veteran complained about there only being four confirmed matches (five since the show) for the premium live event. Russo suggested that it was inexcusable to not have more matches announced two weeks ahead of The Biggest Party of the Summer.
"This is like, just really what bothers me, because you know like, you know the way Triple H is heralded with creative. This is part of creative bro. I don't know if people understand that. Planning, and scheduling is part of creative, and the fact bro that I believe SummerSlam is two weeks from this weekend. The fact that there are four [confirmed matches] [five since then], you are not doing your job bro. There is no excuse, there is no reason for that whatsoever. You are not doing your job if two weeks out we have only got four [five since then] matches announced," he said. [4:30 onwards]

Several recent premium live events have only had five matches on the card. It will be interesting to see how many matches end up being booked for WWE SummerSlam this year on August 3.
