WWE Head of Creative Triple H has been busy on social media lately, making several announcements. The Game recently shared an exclusive video from an upcoming documentary on X (fka Twitter).

WWE had announced a Behind the Curtains documentary set around the Road to WrestleMania XL and The Show of Shows itself. Earlier this week, Triple H announced that the documentary would premiere on July 3 at 7 p.m. ET on the Stamford-based company's official YouTube channel.

Triple H recently took to X to share another update regarding WrestleMania XL: Behind the Curtain. The former World Champion shared an exclusive video, allegedly the first two minutes of the upcoming documentary:

"You can’t always predict the road that will bring you to your destination… or the destination itself, for that matter. Here’s an exclusive look at the first 2 minutes of #WrestleMania XL: Behind the Curtain, premiering July 3 at 7 pm ET on @WWE’s YouTube channel," he wrote.

Triple H reflects on the significance of WWE's Netflix deal

WWE signed a decade-long streaming deal with Netflix earlier this year, which commences in January 2025. After this, RAW will move to the online streaming platform in the United States, Canada, the UK, and Latin America. However, for the rest of the world, every single televised show will be available exclusively on Netflix.

During a recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Triple H stated that the move to Netflix means the company no longer has to worry about the restrictions imposed by its current telecast partners. He further referred to the deal as a 'game-changer' for the wrestling promotion:

"Being on Fox, if the crowd chants 'holy sh*t' or something worse, they take the audio. Sometimes, they take the picture and the audio out, and it's a black screen. [...] We won't have those issues with Netflix. The ability to be live globally and be seen live everywhere is a game-changing moment. In many ways, that's sort of where the world is heading, [which is] Streaming services. The NFL is sticking its toe in the water. NBA, every sport. It's why this Netflix deal, for us, is so game-changing, and everyone is going to be watching us in January, especially other sports, from the business side, they're going to be watching to see what we do, what we do differently, and how it's received."

Wrestling fans have often criticized television networks for censoring the shows. If WWE Head of Creative Triple H is to be believed, it would no longer be an issue once the programming moves to Netflix. It will be interesting to see how the product will change with the move.
