WWE COO Triple H recently spoke to UK Sun’s Daily Star. A major highlight of the interview was a possible return for Ronda Rousey and the possibility of the former UFC Bantamweight Champion working a few matches in the WWE.
Triple H seemed excited at the prospect of having Rousey compete in the company. He said the following about Ronda:
“I know that she’s a massive fan. I know that she had a wonderful time when she worked with us in the past and I know we’ve talked about doing things in the future.
Right now Ronda is focused on unfinished things in the UFC. I know she has a lot of other projects in the works. But, never say never in the WWE – we have a great relationship and we’ll see where it goes.”

‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey is one of the biggest names in the combat sports industry and WWE will be keen to have her on the roster. Last year, Ronda was at ringside for WrestleMania 31. In a segment with The Rock, Ronda pulled off an amazing hip toss on Triple H and caught Stephanie McMahon in an armbar.
She was able to hold her own in the midst of charismatic characters like Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and The Rock. The crowd also seemed to be captivated by Rousey’s in-ring enigma as the Levi’s Stadium erupted in cheers.

Last month, rumours were all over the internet of Rousey’s potential return to the WWE when she announced that her bout with the UFC Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes might very well be her last outing in the octagon.
In an exclusive interview with TMZ last month, Stephanie revealed that she would be delighted to sign Ronda Rousey to the WWE. She mentioned that she would also be looking to seek retribution after the humiliation she had been subjected to in front of 76,000 people at WrestleMania 31.
Here is a video released by WWE on their YouTube channel that has Cathy Kelly analysing Stephanie’s statements about Rousey’s return.
