"Trish Stratus gonna cost her" - WWE Universe reacts after RAW Superstar qualifies for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match

The Money in the Bank Ladder bouts at Saturday's WWE Premium Live Event in Toronto, Canada, are already set. However, some members of the WWE Universe are unhappy with the inclusion of one superstar.

Zoey Stark earned the last spot in the Women's MITB Ladder Match by beating Dakota Kai and Ivy Nile in a Triple Threat qualifying match on Monday. Some fans online wanted Kai to win and get the opportunity they thought she deserved, but it was Stark who prevailed.

In a post on X/Twitter, one fan account showed its disdain for the 30-year-old star's qualification. To make matters worse for some viewers, Stark pinned Kai to earn her spot in the MITB Ladder Match.

"Literally no one asked for this," the account wrote.

One fan thought that Zoey Stark's presence in the match could lead to Trish Stratus' return. But other members of the WWE Universe just piled on and pointed out why Stark seemingly didn't deserve to win.

"She ruined the lineup," another fan replied.

"I would've taken Katana Chance over her!! Like WWE is really forcing her in our face since last MITB with Trish. And we still not rooting for her," a fan claimed.

Others thought that a different superstar should have been given an opportunity this year. Dakota Kai fans felt that the Damage CTRL member deserved to be at the event in Toronto. Out of the six participants this year, IYO SKY and Zoey Stark were in last year's MITB contest.

"I thought Dakota would win.," a fan remarked.

"The crowd did not care," another fan commented.

"Why does she get to be in there two years in a row?" one fan asked.

Zoey Stark and Trish Stratus have unfinished business after WWE Payback last year

Trish Stratus took Zoey Stark under her wing during her feud with Becky Lynch last year. It culminated in a Steel Cage match at WWE Payback, where Lynch won despite Stark's interference on behalf of Stratus.

After the match, the Hall of Famer blamed her loss on her protege and proceeded to slap her. However, Stark had enough and ended up attacking her then-mentor. She hit the Z-360 on the Canadian icon to officially end their alliance.

It has been 10 months since it happened, with Stratus' last appearance coming in April 2024 as part of the WrestleMania XL pre-show.
