WWE legend Trish Stratus recently took to social media to heap praise on Chelsea Green after her incredible win at Saturday Night's Main Event. Green made history against Michin on the show.

Since Green returned to World Wrestling Entertainment in 2023, she has been extremely over with fans because of her on-screen character and in-ring performances. Many people were backing her to win a major title in the Stamford-based promotion. It finally happened at Saturday Night's Main Event, where she defeated Michin to become the inaugural Women's United States Champion.

Following Green's massive win, WWE legend Trish Stratus took to X/Twitter to send a message to her fellow Canadian. Stratus wrote that she was sending a virtual hug to the 33-year-old for becoming the first Women's United States Champion.

"Virtual hug for my Canadian sis @ImChelseaGreen!! The first Women’s United States Champion… from Canada #SNME."

Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.

Chelsea Green talked about her WWE Women's United States Championship win

Moments after winning the Women's United States Championship, Chelsea Green gave an interview to Byron Saxton. During the conversation, Green said she was now in the history books of the Stamford-based promotion.

The SmackDown star also highlighted how she did not get this opportunity during her first stint with the company but believed her time to be at the top had started.

"I would say duh. I'm in the history books where I belong. I should've been there three years ago, but I was released. I should have been there in 2015, but I wasn't hired. But now's the time, Byron. Now is the freaking time."

Chelsea Green has already proven her worth by putting on incredible performances inside the squared circle. It will be interesting to see what the Triple H-led creative team has planned for the Canadian star's run as the WWE Women's United States Champion.
