WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce has announced two major grudge matches for the go-home edition of the red brand before SummerSlam. One of the two matches will feature former World Champion Sheamus.
On the July 22 edition of Monday Night RAW, The Celtic Warrior attacked Pete Dunne and Bronson Reed before the two superstars could start their singles match. The week prior, Sheamus defeated Reed, only to be attacked by the latter after the contest ended. The Irishman's former stablemate Dunne intervened to save the Irishman. However, in a surprising turn of events, he started beating down Sheamus.
With the three performers looking to take each other down, in a video posted by WWE's official X/Twitter account, Adam Pearce announced a singles contest between Sheamus and Bronson Reed. The 46-year-old also revealed that The Creed Brothers will lock horns with Tozawa and Otis in a tag team match. Pearce also hyped already announced matches and segments to urge all the fans to tune into Monday Night RAW ahead of SummerSlam.
"First, in the battle of bruisers, Sheamus will go one-on-one with Big Bronson Reed. And in a tag team match with unfinished business, The Creed Brothers will oppose Akira Tozawa and Otis, of course, that [is] in addition to Finn Balor going one-on-one with Gunther. And as you know, Seth Rollins is gonna give his SummerSlam referee instructions to both CM Punk and Drew McIntyre," Adam Pearce said. [From 0:07 to 0:28]

Otis and Akira Tozawa parted ways with Chad Gable following his recent actions. The 38-year-old tried to make amends but to no avail. He eventually joined forces with The Creed Brothers. Last week, Master Gable tried to insult Otis and Tozawa after they refused to align themselves with their former leader.
Finn Balor and Gunther will compete in a singles match for the first time on WWE RAW
Gunther is all set to challenge Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam. However, before locking horns with The Archer of Infamy, The Ring General will face the champion's stablemate, Finn Balor, on the upcoming edition of WWE RAW.
In a backstage segment on WWE RAW last week, Finn Balor claimed he asked General Manager Adam Pearce to put him in a match against Gunther the following week. In addition to that, he also demanded a tag team match against Sami Zayn and Jey Uso later that night. Unfortunately, the World Tag Team Champions lost the match to the former Bloodline members.
Gunther will look to take out Finn Balor to send a message to El Campeon ahead of the title-clash at The Biggest Party of The Summer.
