Two WWE veterans set to make final appearances on RAW

Next week's episode of WWE RAW will be the last one on the USA Network. The flagship show will move to Netflix starting January 6, 2025.

As announced, some changes will be made to the commentary team. Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore could very well make their final appearances on Monday Night RAW as commentators.

Earlier this month, Triple H announced that Pat McAfee would return to WWE full-time when RAW moves to Netflix next year. In addition, Michael Cole also confirmed he would move back to the flagship show in January 2025.

Barrett and Tessitore have been RAW commentators since September this year. The two men will likely jump to SmackDown after the December 30 episode of Monday Night RAW.

As for Corey Graves, there's no official word on whether he would remain on SmackDown or move to RAW. The company has run a three-man commentator booth in the past.

The former NXT Tag Team Champion could be joined by Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore on SmackDown as the show will expand to three hours starting January 3, 2025. While Barrett has been working as a commentator in the global juggernaut since 2020, Tessitore has been one of the top sportscasters for ABC and ESPN for years.

Pat McAfee comments ahead of his WWE return

Pat McAfee took to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle to address his impending return to Monday Night RAW.

The former NFL punter expressed his gratitude and said he couldn't wait to reunite with Michael Cole.

"An absolute honor to be asked back.. A Childhood dream realized every single time I’m lucky enough to be in an arena with the @WWE Universe. Can’t wait to be talking into a microphone next to @MichaelCole again.. He’s the [GOAT]. I’m excited to tell the worldwide audience on Netflix how great the WWE Superstars are…. and how big of scumbags some of ‘em are too. Let’s go," McAfee said.

The premiere episode of RAW will be special as Triple H has lined up a WrestleMania-worthy match card. CM Punk will face Seth Rollins for the first time in over a decade. Meanwhile, Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa will battle in a Tribal Combat match for the Ula Fala.

Elsewhere on the show, Liv Morgan will defend her Women's World Championship against Rhea Ripley in a Last Woman Standing match.
