WWE finally released the 'WrestleMania XL: Behind the Curtain' documentary nearly three months after The Show of Shows. Wrestling veteran Matt Morgan believes the delay was to edit out footage of The Rock throwing a fit.

The Rock returned earlier this year to initially square off against his cousin, Roman Reigns, at WrestleMania XL. However, the plan changed after the fans' backlash over Cody Rhodes forfeiting his spot to The Final Boss despite winning the Men's Royal Rumble match. The TKO board member then turned heel and joined forces with Reigns to defeat The American Nightmare and Seth Rollins on Night One of The Show of Shows. Meanwhile, The Tribal Chief and Rhodes squared off in the main event of night two.

Although a documentary about what happened behind the scenes heading into WrestleMania 40 was set to be released in April, it was delayed. The company recently released it on YouTube a few days ago. On his Gigantic Pop podcast, former WWE star Matt Morgan commented on the documentary, stating it was not "anything special." He pointed out that everything said on it was previously mentioned by Rhodes, The Rock, and Triple H.

Meanwhile, Morgan disclosed that he believes The Final Boss was behind the delay of the documentary's release to save his image. He claimed that The Rock probably wanted to edit out footage of him having a rant about the fans booing him:

"It was all stuff we heard Cody say, we've heard Hunter say, we've heard Rock say. There was no new news out of this. So, it tells me they waited almost three months because they were editing some of the other more like, some of the more sizzle component of it where I'm sure they had video footage of Rock coming back going like, 'What the f**k, they're booing me?! What?! What kinda sh*t is this?!' Maybe, you know, that kinda stuff," he said.

The wrestling veteran added that the Hollywood megastar tried to spin the story and portray himself as the one who saved WrestleMania:

"I know it sounds unprofessional but that's what I was led to believe we'd see in this documentary of a bu**-hurt Rock selling and he did not sell. He tries to spin it and act like he saved WrestleMania." [From 13:44 to 14:21]

Who will The Rock face at WWE WrestleMania 41?

In a recent interview with ESPN, The Rock teased a massive match at next year's Show of Shows. Since then, many have wondered if The Final Boss will finally square off against Roman Reigns.

On the Busted Open podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray claimed the dream match must happen at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas:

"Vegas. Rock and Roman has to happen in Vegas... The whole Vegas aura is perfect for The Rock and Roman, I truly believe. But this is a great 'problem' for the WWE to have with all these players and all these potential stories. And it's so funny because this Bloodline story can go on for so long because there are so many members of the family," he said.

After WrestleMania XL, Solo Sikoa took control of The Bloodline and recently revealed that he has overthrown Roman Reigns and is not the new Tribal Chief. Matt Morgan believes The Rock must reveal himself as the main instigator behind Sikoa's coup. It would be interesting to see if The Final Boss will return to WWE to play a part in the storyline.
