The Street Profits have been in the news recently after Montez Ford seemed to hint at breaking up the group recently. Now, there's been an apparent reaction to it.
In a recent interview, Street Profits member Montez Ford talked about how he had tried everything he could but always seemed to fall short of the target. He said that he had attempted different combinations, but for whatever reason, it was not working.
"I chilled with Dawks before that for a very long time and we weren't getting the success. And we added the All Mighty, we added B-Fab, had a little bit of success, but honestly, not the same success as before. Now I'm starting to think, do I need to make adjustments with the people I'm involved with? Do I need to involve more people, or do I need to get rid of people? And I'm looking at my biological time clock, there's some things that I want to do, but I also don't want to be past a certain age or athletic prime where I'm not able to do these things no more."
Now, without adding any context, Angelo Dawkins has seemingly reacted to it. He posted on X about disrespect, saying he was tired of it:
Former WWE writer buries Judgment Day HERE
It is unclear whether this is about Ford discussing a breakup after eight years together or because he was annoyed with how The Motor City Machine Guns immediately came in and won the titles. It remains to be seen what's next for the two stars.
Montez Ford spoke about The Street Profits failing in WWE
Over the course of their careers, The Street Profits tried multiple times but only won two titles on the main roster. Montez Ford also spoke about this, saying that they had failed multiple times despite their best attempts.
"This is the crossroads that I'm at right now in life. Ever since I was a kid, I always wanted to be WWE Champion. Now I've got the dream job I wanted, been with this tag team, and it's been fantastic, but I've also made a lot of changes and adjustments to try to be successful within this tag team, and I'm now at the point where I've done everything to be successful, I've tried to do something for a long time, and there's still no success."
The coming episode of SmackDown will reveal if there's any tension between the two stars.
